floor. Priceless loot glitters in the dark. Clean up the crime scene and get out fast

Rounds
Gameplay takes place in rounds,
Players take turns describing what
they do, but all action takes place
simultaneously.
The Cop Roll
The cop roll takes place
After 1 round
Every minute
Whichever of these conditions is met
second
determines when the cop
roll occurs. If players are fast
enough, they may take multiple
rounds in one minute, but a single
round cannot last more than a
minute.
To do the cop roll, roll a
d20,
then
add or subtract any modifiers. On a
1,
the cops arrive and the players
have one final round to
escape.
On
any other result, the game
continues, but a
complication
occurs.
After every cop roll, each
subsequent cop roll result is
modified by -1. This effect is
cumulative,
so after 5 rolls, the
result will be modified by -5.
Complications
Because there is no GM, players
collectively decide how
complications impact gameplay.
They may add additional obstacles,
create more
evidence,
or cause
loss of
loot
Escape
Players
escape
as a team. To
escape, each player must have no
evidence
and 5
loot.

The Cops Will Be Here Any Minute
is
a GM-less crime scene cleanup
game designed to be played in
under twenty minutes. The game is
played in real-time (sort of) as
players frantically destroy evidence
and collect loot before the
authorities arrive and arrest them all.

In order to successfully
escape, a player must destroy
all
their
evidence
and collect
5 loot.
Actions
Players may take 2
actions
in the
game:
Clean Up
and
Clean Out.
Clean Up:
Destroy
evidence.
Take
careful, defensive action.
Clean Out:
Collect
loot.
Take bold,
aggressive action.
When players take an action, they
narrate what they do, then roll
1d6.
Add an additional
d6
and take the
higher number if a teammate
assists.
1-3:
You bungle it. Subtract 1 from
the next
cop
roll.
4-5:
You do it.
6:
You nail it. Add 1 to the next
cop
roll.
By default, each action you take
destroys 1
evidence
or collects 1
loot.
