I must acknowledge the help of the late Dr. P. Hunt, a very good
friend and talented academic mathematician who very kindly
checked my calculations.
I was also greatly helped by the talent of another good friend,
Jack Lewis, who produced some of the illustrations in this book,
and because of his pestering, caused this book to be written.

I would like to acknowledge the work of Professor
R.J.C.Atkinson who published ‘Stonehenge’, (Penguin 1979, &
1990) from which the descriptions and measurement details
in this current book are obtained.
The construction method and other views expressed in the
following pages of ‘Ancient Knowledge’ concerning
Stonehenge are my own, and should not be taken to reflect
on Professor Atkinson or anyone else.
