Get into Post-it Note yellow
Life imitates, um, the office, because Post-it Notes have
crept onto the mood boards of fashion designers this
season. Possibly inspired by the new book
Remember to
Dream!
by Hans Ulrich Obrist — in which 100 artists
(including Grimes, Damien Hirst, Zadie Smith and Frank
Ocean) give their creative thoughts on, you’ve guessed it,
a sticky note — designers have taken the
energetic, zesty shade and run with it. Seen
on the catwalks at Aigner, Versace and Jil
Sander, the sticky notes’ colour was actually
discovered by accident, fact fans.“The
original pale yellow was chosen by chance
from the colour of the scrap paper of
the lab next door to the Post-it
team,” Obrist says. No… notes.
